To America,
Is it cringe to think of an America where government exists to satisfy Constitutional goals, not historical goals of what one thinks America should be?
I feel entitled. Ashamed. To be mourning a country who has performed Democracy and Freedom while tearing down those abroad if it looked different to ours. We’ve destabilized governance potential globally, influencing foreign elections, without care for politics; always opting to support whichever candidate, no matter how extreme, as long they were pro-American business.
All of this can be true while it also being true that it pains me to experience the ongoing collapse of our great American experiment. Perfect? It is not. But this is my country. It’s my nation. It’s my community. It’s my people. It’s my citizenship.
Yet, this problem is so complex and tangled through the mixture of incentives from powerful entities to keep America collapsing. It’s tragic, yet deserved that the U.S. government has had a bipartisan confidence in American domination of the global sphere that we left the door open for a criminal Israeli government to infiltrate America from the federal government, to the states, to the courts, to corporations, to institutions, to the Democratic vote; it has made America become Israel-First. It’s almost laughable that a country of over 9 Million can have such a toxic control over a country of nearly 340 Million.
The criminal Israeli government, its murderous IDF, and KGB alternative have poisoned our Constitutional Republic to the point of bipartisan approvals of freedom of speech limitations to protect foreign policy, ignoring of due process to retaliate against Anti-War protestors, and a dangerous equating of the Jewish faith to the Zionist ideology. All to advance a narrative of a paranoid country hungry for power and terrorist control over outsiders.
As an international affairs scholar, it always amazed me to hear how only Israel is allowed to murder Americans without consequence. How America “doesn’t negotiate with terrorists” (as is understood by plenty of journalists killed by ISIS) but suddenly, Americans who willingly chose to visit a conflict zone in Israel are worth the lives of over 50,000 Palestinians?
How America is responsible for Americans but it has done more to “bring home” Israelis to Israel than to bring kidnapped Americans back to the United States?
The American Constitution has survived plenty. From Confederate treason, to the failure of Post-Civil War Reconstruction — elected officials have continuously chosen against transformative change to appease wrongdoers. No surprise that today we are being sandwiched between dark money takeover of American society, and Israel’s coup against America’s Constitutional Republic.
It is not a conspiracy of the Jewish faith that Israel uses American private citizens, institutions, lobbying, and its foreign agents working in AIPAC, to buy political decisions across the aisle. This is not true because it is Jewish but because its government is criminal, paranoid, and delusional about its entitlement to land already occupied. What a joke that a country that requires foreign defense to keep existing because of their ongoing terrorist tactics against its neighbors, has total control over Western nations and our budgets.
How tragic.
Especially for Americans of Color who have yielded no power in committing harm but experience the bulk of Israel’s American coup through the Judas assistance of MAGA Republicans.
